Megan Allenby's first memory of art was in her grade five class with her teacher Mr. Baron. Here she learnt about depth, shape, and to make the tops of heads round instead of flat. From that moment on art has overtaken her life. Although not ever an item in the forefront of her career, art could never escape her work and always snuck in one way or another. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Humanities June 2013. Here she explored the world of literature and how it affects people and cultures.  She wrote her first book June 2015 for her niece Presley. From this she realized her calling, being a children's author and illustrator.
